Field Service Engineer Jobs

| Your challenges?

As a Field Service Engineer, you will work on:

• Document and update the required reports and tickets.
• Deep system fault resolution across the final client’s product range
• Service testing, analysis and troubleshooting of reported problems.
• Pre and Post sales on-site technical support.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance work for the final client’s solution on train & bus vehicles and implement a repair to ensure minimal service disruption and impact to customer.
• On-site installation surveys.
• Installation, configuration and commissioning of the final client’s products, CCTV, and other on-board 3rd party value added solutions into train & bus vehicles.
• Carry out mobile coverage surveys.

| What do we expect from you?

• Ability to work flexible hours at times outside normal business hours and travel throughout the final client’s US Region.
• Knowledge of the mobile network landscape and technologies.
• Wireless and data network telecommunications/IT experience.
• Experience working with IP based networks.
• Ability to manage and update spare parts and on-site inventory.
• Flexible to work long hours when required.
• Proficient administrative skills to comply with the customer specific processes and procedures, and day-to-day communication with team.
• Experience in working within the passenger transport industries.
• Basic knowledge of Linux based operating systems.
• Computer Science or Electrical Engineering background degree or equivalent relevant technical experience background.
