About Karbon

Karbon is the global leader in practice management software for growth-minded accounting firms. We provide an award-winning, highly collaborative cloud platform that streamlines work and communication, enabling the average accounting firm using Karbon to save 16 hours per week, per employee.

We have customers in 28 countries and have grown into a globally distributed team, with our people based throughout the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United Kingdom. We are well-funded, ranked #1 on G2, have a fantastic team culture, are growing rapidly, and making a global impact.

About This Role

This newly created role will be the link between sales and marketing at Karbon. You will combine marketing expertise with a sales mindset to develop outbound strategies, create opportunities and ultimately, drive revenue with predictability.

The role will report to the VP of Marketing and work closely with all key marketing functions, while also working with the GTM team across Sales and Customer. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking to make a big impact in a high-growth, global organization.

Some Of Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

  • Work closely with the entire marketing team, including content, design, product marketing and paid marketing, in support of campaign execution.
  • Repackage marketing content so that it can be distributed through Sales and Customer channels with purpose and impact
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive quality lead generation and prospecting, optimize conversion and improve workflows and processes.
  • Write on-message campaign copy (including emails, social posts, phone call scripts, landing pages) that drives high engagement and conversion.
  • Communicate effectively and often with leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment. Publish frequent program updates and metrics to share performance trends.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer teams to drive strategic alignment, campaigns, communication and new efficiencies across the organization.
  • Report on marketing program effectiveness and develop ways to learn from experiments to constantly improve.
  • Plan and implement high-impact integrated campaigns for pipeline generation including but not limited to outbound sales sequences, ABM, customer expansion and upsell programs, field marketing and events.
  • Deliver effective enablement assets to drive sales, expansion and retention revenue objectives.

About You

The role requires robust experience with outbound marketing and sales, events, field and account-based marketing, and sales enablement.

You're the right person for this role if you have:

  • An eager desire to learn and grow, you’re hungry to make things happen, you can listen to feedback, you enjoy a laugh, and you’re a good person.
  • Unparalleled attention to detail, especially while multitasking — you will be doing a lot of things at the same time, and you need to be able to execute each one of them with excellence.
  • A proven ability to multitask — see above — and be a team player. You will be working with teams across Australia, New Zealand, UK, and US.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a marketing, sales, communications, or event management role, doing any or all of the responsibilities listed above.
  • A passion for finding new ways to execute ideas in different channels — you need to understand and enjoy marketing and sales.
  • Experience with common marketing and sales technology, including Salesforce and Pardot or similar tools.
  • A love to write. You’re great with words, you believe in good grammar, you can get a point across in a succinct and concise manner, you can adapt to write for different audiences, and you genuinely enjoy it.
  • A love for the science behind the process, constantly testing and refining the process and messaging for incremental improvements.
  • A incredibly organized and process-minded, and enjoy looking for ways to improve efficiency and automate tasks.

Bonus Points If

  • Scaleup environment experience
  • You have SaaS, accounting, or Tax industry experience
  • You have worked both in Sales and Marketing teams.
