Summary
Twelve-month position. Develops, coordinates, and implements marketing and promotional plans for the intercollegiate sports programs to create The Best Fan Experience in North Carolina. Assists in revenue generation through fan experience initiatives, ticket sales campaigns, and group ticket sales.Essential Functions:
- Formulate season ticket and single game sales campaigns for women’s soccer, while assisting in efforts related to Wake Forest football.
- Serve as primary contact for women’s soccer.
- Organize single game promotions at events to increase attendance and revenue.
- Write scripts and direct in-game timing and execution of promotions, video board features, music, public address reads and other elements during the season.
- Work with Assistant AD for Fan Experience and Sales on football gameday presentation.
- Develop and execute fully integrated marketing plans, utilizing conventional, grassroots, and digital marketing strategies to drive engagement and sales.
- Manages large special events with an emphasis on group sales.
- Provide leadership in daily strategy and operations of the Junior Deacs Kids Club.
- Assists in all men’s basketball and baseball marketing and promotional efforts.
- Oversee all marketing, sales, and promotional efforts for assigned sports:
- Serve as primary contact for women’s soccer.
- Formulate season ticket and single game sales campaigns for women’s soccer, while assisting in efforts related to Wake Forest football.
- Assists in all men’s basketball and baseball marketing and promotional efforts.
- Develop and execute fully integrated marketing plans, utilizing conventional, grassroots, and digital marketing strategies to drive engagement and sales.

- Assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Fan Experience & Sales and the Associate Director of Fan Experience and Sales with the overall marketing, advertising, and sales efforts for Wake Forest Athletics.
- Provide leadership in game day marketing responsibilities to include pre-game and half-time preparations, presentation coordination, and group ticket management.
- Assist in concept-creation and execution of sport-specific sponsorship elements to create an engaging in-game atmosphere for fans and student athletes.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- One year experience of marketing and promotions experience at the collegiate or professional level required or equivalent education and related training.
- Highly organized and ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
- Valid driver license with good driving record; must be insurable.
- Extraordinary focus on customer service.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Strong initiative to solve problems.
- Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Strong knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Ability to work long hours including nights and weekends.
- Willing to work in a team atmosphere where expectations are set and managed while giving staff flexibility to do their assigned task as both a leader and/or a follower.
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing or sales.
Physical Requirements:
- Job occasionally requires standing, walking, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, and lifting up to 25lbs.
- Work hours are unpredictable and may require including nights and weekends; frequent interruptions based on changing priorities; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
- Job frequently requires sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands.
- Occasional and or light lifting required. Exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc. but none to the point of being disagreeable.
- Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
