Family Pastor Jobs

Role and Responsibilities The Family Pastor is the pastoral lead providing direct oversight for Children's and Youth ministries (birth 12th grade) and for volunteer leaders. General responsibilities of the position: Have a personal relationship with Christ and continue to grow in your faith through personal devotion to God's Word, prayer, and seeking the Lord within the church community. Cast vision and provide leadership to Guide the Children and Youth ministries of Grace Community Church. Provide spiritual oversight to Guard and protect the minds and hearts of the Children and Youth.
Conduct regular preaching and bible studies to Teach the Children and Youth. This must include Sunday morning Children's church, Wednesday evening Children Youth ministries, and Thursday GCS Chapel. Provide regular pastoral care and oversight to the children and families of Grace Christian Schools (GCS). Work with GCC and GCS staff to plan and execute multiple events yearly.
Recruit children and youth ministry volunteers, training them in "Best Practices". Serve as the primary contact for Family Ministries. Manage scheduling of Family Ministries through Tithely. Additional Notes This position reports to the pastor and Board of Elders.
