Job Description

Family Allergy & Asthma is looking for a detail-oriented Facilities Operations Coordinator to join our team! The person in this role will have strong communication skills and high level administrative computer skills.


Location:East End office - 9800 Shelbyville Road, Suite 220, Louisville, KY 40223

Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Salary:$47,000 - $53,000 / year


Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing janitorial & lawn/grounds service performance, insurance and contracts; upkeep of the facilities’ grounds and landscaping
  • Monitor and respond to facilities’ tickets, emails and phone calls timely and accurately
  • Assist with facility, building and equipment maintenance and repairs with vendors, contractors and service partners
  • Track expiring leases and vendor contracts; take appropriate action as directed by Director & Manager
  • Assist with coordination of renovations, new construction and contractor bids, utilities and special projects
  • Prepare cost estimates with supportive documentation for review
  • Intermittent local travel required
  • Assist Director & Manager of Facilities Operations with facility project management


Competencies, Education and Experience:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Facility & building operations, services, maintenance and repair knowledge/experience preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills preferred
  • College Degree
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds as occasionally required
  • Ability to stand, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, walk and lift as needed to perform job functions
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written
  • Ability to organize, implement, and direct facilities maintenance operations and activities
