Amentum is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Facilities manager shall direct, coordinate, and manage the work effort associated with facilities including, but not limited to roads, buildings and grounds maintenance, snow removal, utilities, and the maintenance of Government equipment and property. The Facilities Operations Manager shall demonstrate and apply highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication skills, has the ability to manage complex programs in a diverse and dynamic environment with short-notice tasking’s under high pressure situations.

Job Requirements:

  • Act as primary customer contact and interface for all O&M activities
  • Ensure all reporting requirements, to include daily and monthly, are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support to operating entities
  • Maintain a professional staff and ensure that they follow established Government training protocols, policies, directives, and procedures at all times.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for after hour emergency response and inclement weather response. Provide updates to the Government, as required.
  • Coordinate with the COTR and Mission Partners to perform work activities
  • Ensure that all services are delivered and all tasks are performed in accordance with the SOW.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
  • Support other key management personnel in their responsibilities and ensure they manage in line with relevant statutory, security, environmental, health, and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with the US Government employees and departments to accomplish tasks and requirements and promote a customer friendly environment in support of operations at all levels.
  • Conduct facility self-assessments and make recommendations to the COTR to increase efficiency and cost effectiveness on a continuous basis
  • Identify program problems and obtain solutions
  • Lead review sessions with the Government to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Be responsible for directing all phases of an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Program from inception through completion implementing a sound maintenance policy.
  • Provide management oversight and direction to the employees assigned to the O&M team.
  • Be responsible for directing the Contractor's utilities, buildings, and grounds, managing the daily operations and maintenance activities
  • Meet the requirements SOW, delivering high quality services that align with the needs of the customer and in accordance with applicable statues and industry best management practices.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience using MAXIMO is a plus.
  • Industry recognized certification in Program and/or Project Management or Facility Management is desired
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules
  • Expert computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Five (5) years management experience with 3 years functional experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Must possess a current government issues clearance at time of application.
  • Development, maintenance, and reporting of facility and service metrics
