Fabricator - Welder Details

Description

HardRock Infrastructure Services has immediate openings for Fabricator - Welder.

Under the general direction of the Shop Manager, duties include fitting and joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques in accordance with specifications and schedules. Must be able to read measuring instruments, such as measuring tape, triangles, and framing squares. Must be able to layout simple designs without prints. A keen eye for visualizing designs before even starting a project is critical to this position. Precision, attention to detail, and accuracy are required while fitting designs and welding.

Requirements

• Read Measuring Instruments, such as measuring tape, triangles, and framing squares.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must pass background and drug/alcohol pre-employment test
• Precision, attention to detail, and accuracy are required while fitting designs and welding
• Keen eye for visualizing designs before even starting project is critical for this position
• Must be able to layout simple designs without prints
