Fabricator (Entry Level) - 1st Shift

Position Summary

This position will fabricate windows and/or plastic interiors in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities will include

  • Maintaining a neat, clean and organized work area
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Assisting in 1st piece inspection and completion of work orders
  • Basic window and plastic fabrication under general supervision
  • Identification and recording of parts and serial numbers for plastics and windows

Education

  • High School or GED

Position Requirements

  • Familiarity and experience with basic measuring equipment
  • Ability to perform basic fabrication duties (i.e. sawing, sanding, trimming, routing, cleaning and bonding)
  • Ability to operate forklift safely
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and work instructions

Preferred

  • Previous experience related to job duties may be a plus, and may qualify selected candidate for a higher level/pay grade

Physical requirements

  • Ability to work with hands in conjunction with hand/eye coordination
  • Ability to stand and/or sit stationary for several hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis
