Experienced Welder - 2Nd Shift

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

Perform pressure retaining welds on standard and custom ASME vessels and piping on a routine basis in addition to advanced structural welding. This position would be located at our headquarters in Pulaski, NY.

HOURS: Monday-Thursday 3:15pm-1:45pm

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Layout complicated designs
• Perform welding operations in all positions as needed.
• Instruct and assist as necessary
• Layout, Fit up, root weld and final weldments for standard pressure vessels and piping
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles
• Perform x-ray quality welds as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work from shop orders, construction drawings, sketches, and or verbal information to layout, setup and operate metal working equipment such as pipe rolls, plate rolls, welding machines, sub arcs, spot welders, torches, etc.
• Follow all safe working practices

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience):

• Complete Fulton Safety Training (Crane, Tow Motor, Fire, Etc)
• Ability to read complex mechanical drawings
• High School Diploma or GED
• Fulton Intermediate MIG Welding Class or Welding Certifications Above for a Minimum of 90 Hours
• Associated Fulton Product Training
• Ability to obtain Fulton Welding Certification
• Ability to read an assembly drawing
• Ability to work independently on complex custom jobs with little to no supervision
