The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Supplier Quality Specialist to join the Quality Team located in Berkeley, MO.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
  • Resolves routine issues and concerns.
  • Documents and reports audit and assessment results. Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.
  • Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.
  • Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.


This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • 3+ years of experience in quality, supplier quality or supplier management
  • 3+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • Experience leading key process, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience interfacing with customers in a technical environment
  • Experience have working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Aerospace experience
  • Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
  • Experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams


Typical Education & Experience:


Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: USD 88,400 – 119,600

  • 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
