Who You Are:


Museum of Ice Cream is looking for an Experience & Training Manager to join our fun-filled team. We need your creativity, energy, and drive to help us implement and maintain our core values. Using your creative background and drive for success we know that you will continue to push our guest experience and help develop a supportive and positive culture at MOIC.


Your Day-to-Day:


  • Script Expert, which includes training guides and new hires on script changes
  • Responsible to ensure scripting and experience is being followed for each room by the guide team
  • Working as manager on duty on a weekly basis
  • Directly responsible for the management and development of the experience leads
  • Improving and development of new onboarding and orientation materials
  • Responsible for onboarding of new guides
  • Coordination/Execution of experience updates and changes as needed
  • Improving and upholding the standards of the museum including cleanliness and organization for front and back of house
  • Responsible for Experience consistency and evolution based on each room
  • Responsible for coordinating and implementing guide retrains every 3 months
  • Responsible for recruitment, auditions & hiring as needed for new guides
  • Improving and developing new training materials as needed based on change in rooms or experience at the museum
  • Script additions/modifications/updates
  • Responsible for staff Scheduling
  • Development and training of guides
  • Responsible for Interacting, engaging and elevating the guest experience at all levels in the museum during operations
  • Provides consistent and appropriate feedback/mentorship for guides


Requirements


The Necessities and Nice-to-Haves:


  • Systems, and comfortable teaching these systems to others)
  • Patient, intuitive, honest, and kind to all
  • Strong working knowledge of working in an experiential/museum based environment (operational manager, experience manager)
  • Bonus: Background as an actor or director in the Theater or related industry
  • 4 Year college degree preferred, but not required
  • TIPS or equivalent alcohol training certification preferred
  • Shift leading or managerial experience
  • Food Handler or ServeSafe certification required
  • Technology proficient (Able to confidently navigate google drive, excel, POS

Pay: $65,000 - $70,000
