Job Description
The Legacy of Lexington is looking to add a leader who is an excellent Executive Director, influential manager with ability to lead and motivate all members of the organization. The Executive Director will oversee all operations and be responsible for the financials of the community. They have great communication skills, the ability to create a growth-oriented workplace for our team members, and a love of our residents.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee all aspects of operations, including care delivery, food service, and facilities management, in order to meet or exceed Navion's high operational standards
  • Set standards for quality assurance and foster positive family relationships
  • Demonstrate effective communication, lead by example, ensure outstanding attention to detail in resident care and well being
  • Have direct responsibility for the financial management and regulatory compliance of our communities
  • Oversee the Sales and Marketing process, in order to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets
  • Ensure positive engagement of residents, family, friends, and team members by maintaining a positive, open-door atmosphere
  • Have direct responsibility for hiring, training, and supervising a top-notch team


Requirements


  • Previous sales or business development experience preferred--identifying and building local relationships to drive business as well as effective product pricing and revenue maximization
  • Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
  • Licensed Administrator in the respective state.
  • Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite as well as the ability to learn new applications
  • Previous management experience with direct supervision of a team of at least 10 -- including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, and disciplinary measures as necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to facilitate small-group presentations
  • Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses of at least $1M annually
  • Passion for working with Seniors
  • Prior Executive Director or Administrator experience preferred.
