About the Foundation The Snohomish Education Foundation (SEF) serves the students, families and staff of the Snohomish School District as an independent and separate 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to foster learning by expanding opportunities for all Snohomish School District students. Between 1986 and 2022, the Foundation, through fundraising and administration of community scholarships, granted over $3 million in scholarships, over a million dollars in classroom grants and over a half-million dollars in district-wide programs. Through the Hansen Shoe Fund, SEF annually provides new shoes for children in need. About this position This position is a senior leadership role overseeing the Foundation’s strategic direction, operations and growth. The ED collaborates with the board of directors, stakeholders and staff to advance the Foundation’s mission and strategic direction and to support and enhance educational programs of SSD. The ED leads fundraising, donor cultivation, communications, relationship building and community awareness – all within budget constraints established by the board.
