Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and organized records, including progress reports and behavioral documentation.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing ongoing feedback and making necessary adjustments to instruction.
• Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the successful inclusion and progress of students.
• Create and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
• Utilize assistive technology and resources effectively to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with exceptional needs.
• Adapt instructional materials and techniques to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements

• Experience working with students with exceptional needs.
• Strong knowledge of current Special Education practices and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting the educational development of exceptional children.
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or equivalent).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
