About Our Client
This client specializes in heavy highway, site development, utilities, excavation, aviation, and other related work. They have been around in the local market for over 50 years and have worked on a number of high profile public projects in addition to work they have done for private clients.

  • Responsible for collaborating and developing preliminary estimates for bid team
  • Collaborating with the PM teams
  • Managing Subcontractor and supplier relationships and quotes
  • Building the projects in estimating software using cost history and field knowledge
  • Doing Take-offs and quantity estimations
  • Bid documentation compliance

The Successful Applicant
  • Experience with HCSS estimating software or similar
  • Experienced in different aspect of heavy construction such as utility/concrete/land development etc.
  • Expertise in estimating for heavy civil construction projects such as bridge work, earth work, roadwork, concrete, etc.
  • Estimating experience on public works projects in Pennsylvania and New Jersey is preferred.
  • Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent
  • Local to Philadelphia or South Jersey
  • 10+ years experience in heavy civil construction.
  • Degree in civil engineering or construction management or related is preferred
