Who we are looking for:

Re:Car is looking for an energetic, organized, experienced Events Manager to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for the development and deployment of experiential strategies in support of internal, external, and partnership stakeholders.

What you get to do:

Translate the business vision and strategy into experiential activations and build the organizational support and infrastructure needed to achieve them. Proactively define and manage the experiences to reach the targeted consumer audiences most effectively. Advise and serve as a functional subject matter expert. This role will report directly to the Director of Channel and manage a team of internal and external resources including agency, company assets, and experiential assets.

• Evaluates each piece of event business to ensure business can be properly serviced.
• Provide Event Reports in a timely manner
• Coaches and counsels employees to reflect company service standards and procedures.
• Maintains or exceeds budgeted sales and budgets in all event areas.
• Develops and recommends the budget, marketing plans, and objectives and manages within those approved plans.
• Responsible for managing, servicing, and transporting a fleet
• Recommends, develops, and implements effective experiential plans for generating event revenues and aligned to commercial targets
• Leads event team to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.
• Trains, supervises, and works with event staff, to solicit and book banquet and catering functions, as well as the planning, merchandising and execution of the functions.
• Conducts short- and long-term planning and execution for hosted, internal, and partner events.
• Administers all phases of the event department, including but not limited to sales, planning, marketing, servicing, and administrative procedures.
• Assembles creative and innovative event attractions based on internal capabilities or outsources to qualified vendors.
• Ensure our messaging is aligned with the brand image.

What you bring to the team:

• Proven effective interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Hotel/Hospitality degree.
• Automotive industry experience preferred
• Ability to communicate internally/externally with different stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience in experiential marketing with experience related to managing teams
• Prior experience with critical thinking and problem solving related to event strategy, execution, and reporting
