Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Manager to join our team in the hospitality industry. This is a permanent position that requires a candidate with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate meetings to weddings and other social gatherings.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process and during events
• Manage event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution
• Coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, décor, entertainment, and transportation
• Continuously evaluate and improve event processes and procedures
• Develop and execute event plans and budgets in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to events
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions
• Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members

Qualifications

• A passion for creating memorable experiences for guests
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
• Previous experience in events management, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
