Event Statistician - World Lacrosse Championships

We are looking for qualified & highly motived individuals who are interested in getting experience in the sports industry as volunteers during the June 21 - July 1 World Lacrosse Championship. Lacrosse knowledge/experience is encouraged, but certainly not required. A comprehensive training & onboarding will occur for all Statisticians participating in the 107 games over 11 days at SDSU and USD sites
Responsibilities:
1. Arrive at assigned location mentally and physically prepared to work
2. Connect with on site POC to gather all necessary pregame information from both teams
3. Record required game statistics
4. Send/input statistics to appropriate contacts after each game
Expected Statkeeping
1. Faceoffs
2. Loose balls
3. Shots
4. Saves
5. Penalties
6. Goals/Assists
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Proficient keyboarding and/or handwriting skills
2. Reliable transportation
3. Detail oriented
4. Adaptable & flexible
Accountability:

Each statistician must sign a Conflict of Interest policy statement, sign a code of conduct statement, and sign a photo release form. Any violation of policy or the code of conduct will subject the statistician to the processes in the event of disciplinary action.
