We are looking for an ambitious Event Marketing Assistant who’s passionate about the marketing industry, loves helping others, and is committed to doing the right thing. We're under pressure from out clients to grow quickly, so we're looking for people who can start ASAP!

2023 is going to be an exciting year for our events team. With the range of new events we have scheduled, we anticipate new internal opportunities will arise here in Tampa. AND new external opportunities will likely come about also as we look to open a second location in Florida later this year!


Marketing Assistant Duties:

  • Work with other members of the events team to achieve marketing & sales objectives for the event/campaign
  • Collect banking information from customers that are interested in supporting our client’s cause/current missions (no cash collections!!)
  • Answer general questions and address basic concerns professionally
  • Prepare and distribute promotional marketing materials at live events
  • Help increase brand awareness and brand recognition for our clients
  • Collect feedback about the client’s reputation, objectives, missions, etc
  • Build relationships with members of the public through conversation
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as required to host successful events
  • Help with the planning, organization, and setup of retail-based events


Currently, we are working alongside a new client whose mission is to ease the fear, anxiety, and isolation of sick kids both in and out of hospitals, so you’ll be helping a lot of people each day with the work you’re doing. Comprehensive training is provided for all marketing assistants regardless of their level of experience, so don’t worry if you’ve never worked in a role like this before - you won’t be alone. We know everyone needs to start somewhere and we’re happy to welcome career starters and career changers!


In addition to being 18+ and able to start within 2 weeks, it can be helpful to have:

  • Experience working in a marketing or retail position where you were dealing with customers in a fast-paced environment can be beneficial since you’ll have some great transferable skills!
  • An outgoing personality and/or the ability to make small talk and strike up conversations with people since you’ll be speaking with a variety of customers throughout the day
  • A student mentality where you’re striving to improve and are eager to learn new skills or techniques to assist you
  • A positive attitude, winning mindset, and ability to see failure as part of the learning process are helpful because you’ll see better results this way.
  • Leadership abilities and the ability to work well independently or as a productive part of a team
