We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.  This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program. 


Position Summary


The Ethics & Compliance Specialist will assist the Reyes Holdings Manager of Ethics & Compliance with carrying out essential duties of the Office of Ethics and Compliance. Key responsibilities will include assisting with the management of Ethics Hotline intake cases, documenting Hotline investigations, analyzing data to identify risks and trends, coordinating follow-up to the annual Ethics Certification, administering the internal case management system, and delivering training related to Ethics & Compliance.


Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To


  • Prepare reports for business units and senior leadership
  • Assist in delivery of training and communications relating to ethics & compliance
  • Under the direction of the Manager of Ethics and Compliance, plan, conduct, and oversee internal investigations, often partnering with field investigators and various subject matter experts (e.g., Internal Audit, Safety, DOT, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, etc.)
  • Analyze data related to internal investigations to identify risks, trends, etc.
  • Manage the administration and maintenance of the Company’s internal case management system (“EthicsPoint”)
  • Assist with the annual Ethics Certification process
  • Draft and edit investigation summaries, ensuring appropriate documentation
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.
  • Review Ethics Hotline allegations upon intake and ensure appropriate investigation and final disposition


Required Skills And Experience


  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent organizational and prioritization skills, and high attention to detail
  • Tech savvy and knowledge of MS Office Suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and), essential and quantitative analysis abilities with experience developing data driven reports
  • 0-1 years of experience in a Legal, Ethics & Compliance or Human Resources related role
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong ethical background and commitment to integrity
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality on many sensitive issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Skills And Experience


  • Previous experience conducting or overseeing workplace investigations
  • Previous experience in a corporate office environment
  • Previous experience in ethics & compliance, Human Resources or legal-related fields
