Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst / Ethical Hacker


Role Description

The Cybersecurity Analyst / Ethical Hacker is responsible for protecting the organization's information systems and networks by identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing strategies to mitigate risks. They will utilize their expertise in ethical hacking and cybersecurity to scan IP blocks, search for exposed ports, and detect flaws to help ensure the organization's assets are secure. This individual will work closely with various teams to ensure the security and integrity of the organization's infrastructure.


Responsibilities:


1. Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential threats to the organization's network and systems.


2. Conduct security audits and scans to ensure the detection and mitigation of vulnerabilities.


3. Utilize advanced cybersecurity tools and techniques to discover and report on potential security risks.


4. Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure.


5. Work with cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate security controls.


6. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats to ensure the organization remains protected.


7. Provide guidance and assistance to team members and stakeholders in the implementation of security best practices.


8. Prepare and present reports on findings and recommendations to senior management.


Qualifications

Strong knowledge of various cybersecurity concepts, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.


Proficiency in performing penetration testing and vulnerability assessments using various tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite, OpenVAS, Nessus, and Wireshark.


Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN technologies.


Experience with security standards and frameworks,
