Estimator/Preconstruction Manager - Commercial Construction

Our client is a growth minded General Contractor that is located in the Greater St. Louis area. • Scope and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers for accuracy and completeness
• Assist with the development, updating and implementation of an estimating database with assemblies
• Review estimates with design team and/or construction team
• Interact with clients and design team as needed to evaluate conceptual and detailed estimates
• Assist design team with budgetary pricing at various stages in design development
• Assist or lead the process of implementation of estimating program software system
• Maintain a cost history data base
• Estimate from both concept designs and complete designs
• Completion of all aspects of project bidding including plan and specification takeoff, vendor contact and tracking, bid form completion, pricing, bid review and submission
• Assist Project Manager with project budget set up once projects are awarded

The Successful Applicant

• Design Build experience
• Projects will be across various markets including Commercial, Healthcare, Government and Industrial.
• Hands on construction experience
• 5+ years in conceptual estimating
• Construction related degree preferred
