ERP Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the charge of implementing a new ERP system (Microsoft Business Central). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ERP systems, project management, and business process improvement. They will be responsible for managing the project team, developing the project plan, and ensuring the successful implementation of the ERP system that includes Post Go Live support.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare project documentation, such as requirements specifications, design documents, test plans, etc.
• Go live with the new ERP system.
• Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all ERP project-related matters and will report directly to the IT Director.
• Comfortable implementing change management goals.
• Develop and execute a detailed project plan, including milestones, tasks, resources, risks, and budget.
• Manage day-to-day project activities and track progress against project plan and goals.
• Collaborate with SMEs in performing quality assurance testing to ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements.
• Monitor and report on project performance, highlighting any issues or risks to the ERP Project Steering Committee.
• Conduct regular project and Steering Committee meetings and produce meeting minutes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and how they can be used to support business processes.
• Worked in a manufacturing or warehouse distribution environment for at least two years.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field.
• Familiarity with Order to Cash and Advance Warehousing processes.
• 5+ years experience in project management, with at least 2 years managing ERP implementations.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Experience with specific Tier 1 ERP systems, preferably with Microsoft Business Central or Dynamics.
• Technical background and/or experience working with IT teams.
• PMP or other project management certification.
