Job Description

The ER Tech is expected to function within the scope of approved policies, procedures and regulations for the department and organization. Will be responsible to collect selected patient information, perform directed emergency patient care as directed by the RN/LPN, stock supplies, clean rooms, transport patients, and assist in maintaining the flow patients.

  • Physical demands:
    • Good physical and mental health.
    • Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR required.
  • Fully Vaccinated COVID-19 status preferred.
  • Good physical and mental health.
  • Must be able to work and relate in a professional, non-defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors.
  • Must be able to cope with frequent unpleasant sights/smells and difficult patient/family behaviors.
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
  • Currently enrolled in a nursing or EMT program (preferred).
  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
