We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Equipment Operations Coordinator with the Basketball Operations Department. This position will work closely with other members of Team Operations, players and coaching staff to ensure that all aspects of outfitting and on court gear are handled and prepared efficiently and effectively. The Coordinator, Equipment Operations will play a critical role in supporting the traveling party and contributing to the overall success and performance of the team. This person above all, will exhibit core tenants of timeliness, collaboration with effective communication skills, be service minded and can take initiative as a crucial team member.

What Will You Do
  • Ability to support with additional team needs as they arise.
  • Works with equipment operations to frequently clean on-court apparel and towels for players and coaches throughout the cycle of all on-court activity (shoot arounds, workouts, practices, and all aspects of pre/post game preparation) for the purpose of maintaining items and keeping them in performance condition.
  • Assists with luggage pulls, tagging, inventory and gear distribution during road games.
  • Work with Logistics manager on executing travel coordination and scheduling as needed.
  • In tandem with the health and performance staff, ensure all components of player uniforms, warmups, performance gear and footwear are set up appropriately.
  • Assists with uniform repairs and laundry equipment management to ensure they are operational for high usage.
  • Helps to ensure gear inventory is kept accurate, and event set-up is carried out flawlessly.
  • Maintains uniforms and equipment (e.g., cleans, repairs, inventories, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring continued availability and proper use of items.
  • Help with locker room and court set up, including, player/coach locker set up, all needs of team bench and scorers table (gear loops, hydration stations, hydrotherapy bins towel prep, supply carts, coaching boards,
  • Assist with visiting team on-court logistic needs for practices, shootaround and game day preparation.
  • Has flexibility to travel full time with the team in season.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and report preparation
  • Exhibits discretion, professionalism and respectful boundaries with all team staff and players.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Exhibits a high ability to take initiative, constructive feedback and be solution oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Experience/ Education Requirements
  • High School Degree (bachelor’s preferred) in a related field, such as sports management or business administration.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in professional or collegiate sports organization
