Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced EpicCare Clindoc Specialist to join our healthcare organization. As an EpicCare Clindoc Specialist, you will be responsible for the successful implementation, optimization, and support of the EpicCare Clindoc module. Your primary focus will be to ensure the effective utilization of the system to improve clinical documentation processes and enhance patient care outcomes. You will work closely with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and IT professionals to streamline workflows, troubleshoot issues, and provide training and support on the EpicCare Clindoc system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, streamline workflows, and enhance patient safety and quality of care.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Epic ClinDoc-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing timely resolution to end-users.
- Collaborate with the Epic project team to evaluate new software releases, perform system upgrades, and implement enhancements to improve system performance and functionality.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for clinical staff on Epic ClinDoc functionalities, ensuring proper utilization and adoption of the system.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the Epic ClinDoc application, including troubleshooting issues, managing user access, and coordinating with the IT team for system upgrades and maintenance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to clinical documentation and ensure that the organization remains compliant.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to identify requirements, develop workflows, and implement changes in the Epic ClinDoc module to support efficient and effective clinical documentation processes.
- Conduct regular system audits and analysis to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation requirements and workflows.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting the ClinDoc module within the Epic EHR system.
- Experience in developing and maintaining clinical documentation templates and workflows.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- EpicCare Inpatient certification preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare administration, nursing, or related field.
