Job Description

Environmental Compliance Inspector - Permian Basin

Job Type and Compensation:

Full time/permanent position. Compensation commensurate with experience.

Job Location:

West Texas or Southeast New Mexico – exact location negotiable

Job Responsibilities:

Traveling to multiple locations to collect data and assess environmental conditions at various oil and gas construction projects (pipeline, compressor stations, facilities, etc) across West Texas and southeastern New Mexico. Data collection and assessments include photographs, GPS locations, and evaluations of site conditions. The results of the on-site visits are summarized in electronic format and submitted to the company for review. The submittal requires the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe. Attention to detail is a must. Interaction with personnel on-site, agency representatives, and project managers is required.

This position also requires the collection of water and soil/mud samples from various locations and resources. These may include city taps, hydrants, creeks, ponds, mud pits, frac tanks, hydrostatic test discharge structures, and other resources typically associated with oil and gas construction projects. Once collected, the samples are prepped and transported to the closest authorized lab (dependent on location).

This position may also support other natural resource field operations and surveys in the Permian Basin.
