Environment, Health And Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Sponsors improvement and optimization of EH&S activities and programs.
• Interfaces with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and required reporting.
• Ensures required training for employees is completed and relevant training records and documentation is maintained.
• Manages all applicable permits and regulatory registrations for the facility, including submittal of applications for new/modified equipment or projects, requests for permit changes and/or permit renewal applications, product registrations, etc.

• The EHS Manager will have full accountability for Safety Standards and EH&S work processes.
• Determines appropriate retention times and ensures necessary documentation is maintained for all EH&S related records.
• Implements self-assessments to monitor critical systems (e.g. MOC, permitting, compliance tasks, etc.).
• Oversees, ensures preparation for, and participates in EH&S related audits.
• Relocation provided.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years EH&S management experience (manufacturing environment).
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Hazardous Waste and waste minimization experience a plus.
• The EHS Manager will have a BS degree in engineering or in a technical discipline.
• Process Safety Management experience.
• Certified Safety or Environmental professional a plus.
