Entry-Level Cnc Machinist Jobs

Job Purpose

A CNC Machinist is responsible for understanding the set up, programming and operation of all CNC and Manual Lathes as well as CNC Milling machines according to Hunting procedures and engineering blueprints.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Overtime required

• Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual Lathes or Milling machines according to procedures and engineering blueprints. Setup a machine and run the job with limited supervision.

• Communicate with Supervisor/Coworkers daily to assure accurate routers and schedules.

• Support and assist with machine PM program as required.

• Responsible for dimensional and quality requirements of components.

• Utilize ERP System to perform everyday Job Processes. (will train on our ERP)

Required Skills/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 0 year to 2 years in Manual Lathe.

• Experience in a Manufacturing shop environment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus.

• Forklift certification a plus.

• Knowledge of precision measuring tools a plus.

• Commitment to high quality standards and continuous improvements.

• Organized, ability to multi-task, and self-starter.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and work planned and unplanned overtime.

Desired Skills/Experience

Technical school in related field is a plus

Gun Drill machining a plus
