Job Purpose
To operate mobile equipment with repetitive functions on the TechShield line of an OSB manufacturing facility.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist with mill forklift needs
- Maintain supplies for TechShield strapper (cross-outs, TechShield bags, banding, glue, etc.)
- Perform general preventative maintenance on TechShield line
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Organize and manage finished product frm mainline production.
- Inventory and communicate downgraded material to TechShield Operator
- Facilitate the process of re-graded product exiting the TechShield line
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
- Complete forklift inspection checklist
- Organize product stored in warehouse and shipping pad
What do I need to be successful?
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of simple equipment operation.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability.
- Time management skills.
- Knowledge of general equipment maintenance.
Education:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 3 – 6 months experience operating mobile equipment.
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
