Job Purpose

To operate mobile equipment to keep the mill clean

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform other duties as necessary.
  • Clean all areas of the mill
  • Clean and inspect press pit/return area
  • Complete Fire watch for hot work
  • Organize and reclaim usable material back into the manufacturing process
  • Keep facility grounds cleaned and maintained
  • Assist with facility projects and tasks
  • Load outbound waste material trucks
  • Perform set up work.
  • Operate a complex piece of mobile equipment.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain facility building structure


What do I need to be successful?

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of general equipment maintenance.
  • Time management skills.
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability.
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of simple equipment operation.


Education:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
  • 3 – 6 months experience in operating mobile equipment
