Entry Level Software Engineer

Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph required
As an junior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of a critical software application. You will join a team of 20+ who work together to provide full-lifecycle support to a software application providing audio ingest, storage, query, playback, analysis, and transcription capabilities. The application is used by national and tactical analysts on small systems (laptops) and large systems (server farms).
You will also be able to use / learn Docker container creation and use, wavesurfer.js, Golang, SQL databases, PostgreSQL, Golan, Elixir, Kubernetes, Ansible and Terraform

Responsibilities:

• Perform development work via agile methodologies.
• Work alongside multiple development team members to design and implement mission requested features.
• Investigate, present, and implement suggestions that solve complex application problems.
• Perform development in support of a Web-based mission application.
• Provide assistance to the applications test and operations team.
• Review, troubleshoot and address reported system issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Vue.js / React / Node.js OR Python
• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Basic Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) knowledge
• Basic Linux (CentOS / RHEL) knowledge
• Basic Git knowledge
