What will you be doing?
From the moment you join us, you will be immersed into a team of exceptional engineers, consultants and project managers, ready to support you in your career. From your first week, you’ll gain a sense that you belong. You will be assigned to a variety of projects in your chosen area of interest, working to deliver plans, designs and reports for a number of prestigious clients.
Under the guidance of a professional engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing technology with a ‘digital by default’ approach
• Reviewing, preparing and modifying designs; analyzing reports, specifications and studies
• Actively participating in project, client and team meetings
• Developing conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs
• Attending site inspections, investigations and monitoring
• Gaining exposure to project, commercial and client management

Our Northeast team supports some of the most ambitious transportation, water and infrastructure projects in North America, including:

• A $438 million lead service replacement program, which achieved over 4,000 replacements per year in the DC-metro area.
• Project and construction management for several transit upgrade programs in the heart of Boston.
• The design and construction of a $3.8 billion expansion project for the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel.

Our Environmental team in New York, NY is currently hiring for an geotechnical engineer to join us. In this position you will work with a team of dedicated engineers, geologists and scientists on local environmental projects and critical infrastructure projects across the Northeast.

• Conceptual, preliminary and detailed design
• Review, assistance and modification of reports, specifications and studies
• Design calculation, computation using formula and preparation of calculations
• Competent in CAD drafting/GIS mapping.
• Working independently with attention to detail.
• Utilize cutting-edge software with a “digital by default” approach
• Responsibilities will be varied supporting our geotechnical team in areas of design, compliance, environmental engineering and reporting.
• Site inspection, investigation and monitoring
• Paying attention to site safety, personal safety and following all safety rules and procedures.
• Familiarity with New York and Federal Environmental Regulations
