We currently have an opportunity for an Entry Level Civil Engineer in our Marlborough, MA office. The successful candidate will work with experienced engineers and will be exposed to a wide range of projects for a variety of private clients and public agencies. Types of projects the successful candidate could expect to be exposed to include mixed-use, commercial, industrial, and residential developments, renewable energy infrastructure, climate resilient infrastructure, and stormwater management infrastructure.

Tetra Tech entry level opportunities provide young engineers the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced engineers that will help leverage the foundation of knowledge gained during classwork, internships, and co-ops.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting ArcGIS-based asset database development
• Preparing design plans and supporting calculations
• Conducting field investigations and inspections
• Assisting with the development of engineering studies and technical reports
• Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 0-3 years of experience
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
• Can meet quality standards and deadlines
• Desire to learn new design software programs
• Has the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with ArcGIS, HydroCAD, and/or Storm and Sanitary Analysis is a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) are required
