Job Description
Summary Description


The PM/EA will be a member of the Digital Strategy Team and report to the Customer's Division Chief. In collaboration with the Digital Strategies and DevOps teams, the PM/EA shall be responsible projectizing, planning, and recommending the modernization, enhancement, and maintenance of Federal Customer’s IT infrastructure, systems, and applications. This individual will be actively involved in the drafting and creation of critical EA artifacts, as well as the solution architectures, standards, and other materials needed to fill documentation gaps that exist.


Responsibilities


  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of hardware and software product standards, the design of standard configurations, the identification of patterns, and the overall design of the services portfolio
  • Understand, advocate, and augment the principles of information technology and business process strategies at an enterprise level
  • Analyze the current information technology environment to detect issues and delays in the delivery of business solutions and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Identify necessary enterprise architecture modifications to accommodate project, information management, infrastructure, or business needs
  • Identify ways to innovate Federal Customer applications to an enterprise of integrated solutions
  • Identify the organizational (skills, processes, structures, and culture) and financial impact of the enterprise business architecture
  • Understand Federal Customer goals and provide solutions to meet them.
  • Design and plan the implementation of an enterprise architecture based on delivering enterprise business and information technology capabilities
  • At the direction of the government, define and scope project roadmaps to implement and achieve such end goals on behalf of Federal Customer
  • Propose standardized principles and architectural guidelines for the enterprise
  • Provide architecture artifacts to describe current and desired state of Federal Customer portfolio.
  • Identify and communicate key industry leading trends, architectures, and business process designs that would benefit Federal Customer


Position Requirements


  • Must collaborate with technical and functional staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of technical and business issues as required
  • Ability to present ideas in audience-friendly language
  • Must have extensive skills packaging, summarizing, and presenting highly technical subject material to executive leadership
  • Comprehensive understanding of Change Management process and controls
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to think critically
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills
  • Must have significant background experience in managing technical projects, with hands-on expertise in system engineering and infrastructure support.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
