This position is full - time (40 hours / week). Employees are required to work any shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time). This is a 100% remote position.
We offer 4 - 6 weeks of actual training and then will move to shadowing with someone in the role. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.
  • All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Performing basic clerical functions with proficient PC skills
  • Inventory control of member and group transactions dashboard and package development to team members and management as needed
  • Analytical and Researching techniques to trend or quantify projects
  • Initiate and assist with developments / changes to increase or change quality and productivity
  • Reconciling reports
  • Preparing, processing, and maintaining new member or group enrollments
  • Working with various types of member correspondence
  • Reconciling eligibility discrepancies, analyzing transactional data & submitting retroactive eligibility changes
  • Researching errors by comparing enrollment error reports against system information along with CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) records
  • Responding to member eligibility or group questions & verify enrollment status
  • Sending correspondence to members or CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) to gather information or provide updates for corrections

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to work any shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time)
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • Computer, mouse, and keyboard skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Windows
  • 1+ years of experience in an office setting environment, using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
Telecommuting Requirements
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Reside within the state of Wisconsin, Minneapolis, OR Texas
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
