Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to join their Automated Enrollment Team to support a healthcare enrollment project.The Functional Analyst will be responsible for triaging enrollment requests from brokers and full-service producers, ensuring that requests are routed to the appropriate teams and systems for processing.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with multiple systems, enrollment and eligibility processes, and familiarity with FACETs. Additionally, candidates should have a background in data analytics and possess excellent customer service skills to effectively manage expectations and route requests between different areas and communicate with FSPs (Full service producers) and brokers.
Enrollment request are funneled through a shared mailbox that tracks the timeline for each request and performance metrics, the Analyst should be able to process 80-100 request per day once trained.
Project OverviewThe reason for the influx in enrollment requests is the team is in the process of a migration - modernizing from the Legacy system to a new version of FACETs. These segments include header information, member-level information, dependents, coverage details, and other relevant data necessary for enrollment and eligibility processing. When receiving 834 files, it is essential to validate the data against predefined rules and business requirements. This validation ensures the accuracy and integrity of the enrollment information. Errors or discrepancies identified in the files require resolution and reconciliation to ensure accurate enrollment processing.
Required Skills & Experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, namely Microsoft Excel - able to manipulate & analyze data
- Experience in identifying and resolving enrollment-related issues and errors.
- Organized, detail-oriented while meeting strict deadlines.
- Proven experience in healthcare enrollment and eligibility processes (EDI 834)
- Ability to triage enrollment requests received from brokers and full-service producers.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a large team environment.
- 2-3 years experience in a data analytics-type role.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with billing revenue cycles
- Familiarity with FACETs or similar healthcare enrollment systems.
- Bachelor's Degree
