Position Introduction/Key Duties

Watring Technologies, Inc. (WTI) is seeking Hardware Technicians to support space hardware assembly, integration, and testing activities in Huntsville, AL. This position is supporting work at the WTI headquarters location for the assembly and acceptance testing of commercial space propulsion modules including hardware sub-systems and components. With this acquisition, Cimarron gains substantial capability in both expanded service and product offerings.

This is an onsite position. We are looking for 1 candidate to support the first shift and 3 candidates to support the second shift.

Key Duties

• Fabricate specialized test apparatuses for gaseous testing and exercising sub-systems and components.
• Execute acceptance test procedures for functional verification of high/low-pressure distribution panels, sub-systems, and components.
• Support assembly, integration, and testing activities for space hardware.
• Perform assembly procedures for the fabrication and integration of systems and components into higher level assemblies.

Required/Desired Skills, Experience, And Education

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of fabrication skills, including cutting, grinding, bending, hand tools, fastener installation, material handling, surface preparation, inspections, and dimensional measurements.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work well with others and within a team.
• Watring employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• Strict attention to detail and documentation of assembly processes.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and mechanical equipment layouts.
• 10 or more years of aerospace hardware assembly experience.

Desired Skills, Experience, And Education

• Experience working within ISO 7 or better clean room environment.
• Experience with space rated hardware assemblies.
• Experience with Orbital Tube Welding (OTW).
