Work Schedule :
100% FTE, day shift. Monday – Friday with a start time between the hours of 6:45am – 9:00am, working 8 hour shifts. No on-call/weekend/holiday rotations. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking Endoscopy Technician to:
- Assist physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology endoscopy setting.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, assisting providers during endoscopy, including biopsy specimen collection, and polypectomy.
- Restocking of procedure room supplies and monitoring of supply PAR levels.
- Adherence to strict infection control practices and use of personal protective equipment.
- Troubleshooting of all specialty equipment.
Education :
- Preferred – Formal training or experience in medical specialty (i.e. LPN, MA, Advanced Nursing Assistant)
- Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience :
- Preferred – One (1) year of experience in a clinical setting (or) one (1) year of experience assisting in GI or pulmonary medical procedures, basic cardiac monitoring experience.
Licenses and Certifications :
- Minimum – BLS/CPR certification
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities :
- Knowledge of the use of personal protective equipment.
- Knowledge of communication techniques, teamwork, customer service standards and quality improvement.
Physical Requirements :
Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
