Job Description
Employment and Training Coordinator Golden Entertainment Corporate (Las Vegas, NV) Description:
Summary
Responsible for all administrative duties within the Employment and Training teams such as onboarding process, tracking, and reporting new hires, facilitating training and. Review and update materials, track completion, and assist in all Employment and cultural training.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Follow up with hiring managers to provide updates on the process of new hires, orientation and to ensure all onboarded team members complete regulatory training in a timely manner
  • Answer office phone line and handle all employment and training-based questions from callers and in-person guests
  • Provide administrative support for the employment and training team as needed
  • Create new hire packets, new hire name tents, materials, and order/maintain materials for New Hire Orientation and other training classes
  • Update and maintain the data needed to create training reports in the HRIS and learning management system
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintain highly confidential company information, files, and team member information
  • Facilitate training classes, including new hire orientation, aligned with current learning objectives and approved curriculum
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner and demonstrate the I CARE Culture to both guests and fellow team members
  • Create team member ID’s and name badges for New Hires, Rehires and transfers
  • Assemble processing packets, extend job offers, conduct onboarding processing, and ensure all processing packets are fully and appropriately completed (including proper work cards and pre-employment requirements) prior to new hires and transfers beginning work
  • Assist with implementation of employee events, training events, and promotional events as needed
  • Support and assist with HR front desk/reception activities, and Human Resources team with other special projects when necessary
  • Update employment logs to track the process of all new hires, update systems of class completion and attendance logs, and prepare rosters for training
  • Maintain employment and training materials and slide decks to reflect current information, logos, updates, and any other applicable changes
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • 1 year in an administrative role preferred
  • Verify right to work in the United States
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to effectively interact with large groups of people in a training environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Possess excellent written, verbal and group presentation communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Previous classroom facilitation experience preferred
  • Able to effectively organize materials, set priorities, and provide feedback or follow up
  • Previous human resource experience preferred
  • Able to occasionally work swing shifts and/or weekends
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
