Electronic Technician Jobs

The Electronic Technician uses electronic bench test equipment to diagnose and repair all DMP products effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electronics, applicable certifications or equivalent training and experience.
• Electronic bench test equipment; oscilloscope, digital multimeter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator
• Use of electronic schematics to troubleshoot circuit boards
• Accept and benefit from constructive criticism
• Be punctual, have a good work attitude, and work cooperatively with other in the department and company
• Hand soldering of fine pitch surface mount and through hole components
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite
• Proficient in research, logical reasoning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Electronics manufacturing
• Minimum 2 years of experience with
• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills
• Component identification codes and orientation

Responsibilities

• Uses schematics and electronic test equipment to diagnose and repair DMP products.
• Promptly reports any malfunctioning test equipment or fixtures to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve cycle time.
• Follows safety standards and wears personal protective equipment in designated areas as required
• Works quickly, accurately, and effectively to contribute to one-day RMA turnaround time or production repair goals.
• Works cooperatively with Production Engineering to improve manufacturing and testing of new products.
• Documents all repairs in applicable database in a timely manner.
• Performs final in circuit and functional testing of repaired units, as needed.
