The EKG Technician is responsible for performing routine and STAT electrocardiograms on adults, children and infants within the Hospital, including outpatients and Emergency Department patients.

Requirements:

• American Red Cross - CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
• €‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹No online programs from any organization will be accepted.
• BLS or CPR/AED training required and accepted from only 2 organizations:
  • American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program
  • American Red Cross - CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
• Six months experience in all phases of EKG testing desirable.
• American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program
• Prior experience in a hospital environment preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent
