Our customer, a Cloud Computing and Storage Device company is looking for an eDiscovery Operations Specialist to work full time remote for 12 months (likely to renew).
As a Project Manager, you will work directly with their litigation projects and eDiscovery services. You will be responsible for managing, supporting, and reporting on litigation projects such as intellectual property (IP), compliance, third party subpoenas, and legal hold. In addition, the project manager will support the legal operations department in project-based support such as playbook updates, onboarding/offboarding and data tracking.
This could be a fantastic opportunity for you, if you:
- Have the ability to handle multiple tasks through prioritization and time management skills.
- Have the ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of a professional organization ranging from the CSuite to junior professionals.
- Have the ability to ask questions and learn quickly.
- Have extensive knowledge of legal terminology; and general law and legal proceedings.
- Have demonstrated proficiency in managing and working with people across the globe and in remote work environments.
Specifically you will:
- Supporting the Legal Department and general operational support.
- Managing legal hold projects and asset tracking.
- Managing and reporting on third-party subpoena projects.
- Assisting with eDiscovery requests.
- Managing documents in MS Excel, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
Experience:
- Proficient in MS Outlook; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Exterro, TAP, and Smartsheet experiences are a plus.
- 3 to 5 years working as an in-house paralegal or legal operations manager.
- Review platform experiences such as Everlaw, Relativity, etc. are a plus.
