Job Overview:

As an Ecommerce Order Fulfillment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing orders, receiving inventory, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to general warehouse upkeep and cleanliness.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
• Use scanners and other tools to efficiently prepare orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage and complete cycle counts when necessary to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Receive and inspect inbound shipments, checking for accuracy and quality of products.
• Restock shelves and organize inventory to optimize warehouse space.
• Safely operate pallet jacks to move inventory throughout the warehouse.

Work Environment:

Our work environment is relaxed, casual, and enjoyable. We believe in creating a positive atmosphere where team members feel comfortable and motivated. We have a laid back dress code and the warehouse maintains a comfortable temperature of around 70 degrees year-round.

Work Schedule:

The regular work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, ensuring that your weekends are free for personal time and relaxation. While we prioritize maintaining a work-life balance, some weekend availability may be required during peak times, specifically during the Holiday season (November and December).

Qualifications:

• Ability to understand and follow all job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Forklift certification is not required; however, experience with pallet jacks is preferred.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is beneficial but not mandatory.

In addition to the previously mentioned responsibilities and qualifications, the Ecommerce Order Fulfillment Specialist must also meet the following physical requirements:

• Lifting Capacity: The ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 49 pounds is essential for this role. You will be required to move various items throughout the warehouse, so physical strength is necessary.
• Physical Mobility: During your shifts, you will be actively engaged in physical tasks that may include standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching. Flexibility and agility are key to performing these duties effectively.
• Stairs and Heights: In some locations, the warehouse may have staircases and mezzanines up to 40 feet high. The role may require navigating stairs and working at elevated heights, where applicable. A cautious approach and adherence to safety protocols are vital.
• Equipment Operation: You will be expected to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to transport items within the warehouse. Familiarity with and the ability to handle such gear is important.
• Pushing and Pulling: The position will involve pushing utility carts weighing up to 60 pounds. You should be capable of exerting force to move these carts efficiently.
