Job Description

SATURDAYS NEW YORK CITY: E-COMMERCE COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Ecommerce Coordinator will support the Director of Merchandising in building and maintaining a product assortment that serves all channel needs for Saturdays Men’s, Women’s, & Accessories. This position’s primary focus will be to ensure all aspects of the website are up to date and organized for launch upload, and prioritize maintenance according to relevance of product category inventory position and selling performance. This person will interact with all cross-functional groups in the process including: design, PD, sales, retail and wholesale channel leads, with a focus on Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:


  • Provide strong organizational support for the merchandising & ecommerce department
  • Manage market tools and assortment guides (information and drops)
  • Ensure consistency in Product nomenclature and MSRP
  • Attend store visits and is aware of competitive landscape
  • Manipulate and Manage Master Attribute Selling Report (excel)
  • Ensure all PDPs are up to date and ready for launch; organization and general maintenance of website (both ad-hoc and ahead of drops) as well as Shopify backend; first-line troubleshooting of all website issues
  • Create and maintain seasonal visual hindsight to analyze business and provide learnings to cross-functional teams to help identify opportunities, misses, and wins.
  • Assist with calendar/product/marketing sample needs
  • Work closely with Operations in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to ensure website, inventory, and product data match across systems
  • Monitor Inventory Stock position by Product Category for Site Prioritization
  • Perform competitor and market analysis by researching competitors’ price points, and emerging trends in colors, materials, and categories
  • Maintains collaborative relationship with wholesale and retail channels
  • Assign product hierarchy, style #, and attributes (Season, Line, & Category)
  • Recap and communicate Ecommerce style and color selling, identifying seasonal best and worst sellers
  • Ensure consistency in pricing across product categories and seasons


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:


  • Prior knowledge or an affinity for Menswear and Womenswear
  • 1-2 years of experience in any of the following areas: buying, merchandising, ecommerce, sales


Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field


Skills:

  • Highly collaborative; ability to work with partners across product functions to identify and resolve issues
  • Proficient at Excel (e.g. v-lookups, report running)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Problem solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a variety of systems (Shopify, Google Sheets, MIRO)

Pay Range: $50,000 - $65,000
