Echo Tech - Imaging

Provides diagnostic services to patients, including routine Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound, stress testing (Dobutamine and Exercise Stress Echo), Transesophageal and Transthoracic echocardiography. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of these procedures. Provides good patient care and recognizes when conditions arise requiring immediate action and/or initializing life support measures. Provides education to patients, family and staff. Maintains patient confidentiality.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology Program. RDMS Certification Required

Completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology program or training on the job by a qualified cardiovascular technician. Registry desirable. CPR certification.

Must be computer-literate to complete task(s) as required. Such as MediTech (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (performance appraisal system) Relias (education system), ability to retrieve e-mails, complete online enrollment for health insurance/benefits and any other programs as assigned
