Drug Safety Specialist Jobs

Preferred Educational Qualification for the role: Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Pharmacist or Life Sciences Graduate.

Preferred experience for the role: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a healthcare environment, or 2 year prior Pharmacovigilance experience or other comparable combination of education.

Responsibilities

1. Perform calls to customer for obtaining detailed information significant for the scientific evaluation of the case
2. Perform follow up calls as per the SOP
3. Complete data entry in database
4. Send out posr-marketing AE form, event or product specific questionnaires, etc as created in Action item of the case
5. If action item is to request information, then “Send query” action items are assigned to relevant country activity groups for action
6. Ensure compliance with global and local procedural documents and local implementation of Patient Safety objectives, policies, processes and procedures.
7. Contribute to the development and implementation of new safety-related systems, processes and procedures within the process.
8. Support a performance-driven culture.
