Job Description
The Drafter position is an on-site position with a specialty chemical client in the Cleburne, TX area. The project is scheduled to start August 1, 2023 and is expected to last approximately 6 months.


Drafter Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities


  • Develops layouts from job scope and vendor information.
  • Interprets and analyzes general design provided by engineers.
  • Some field walk down responsibilities.
  • Communicates and works closely with all disciplines.
  • Update redlined P&IDs
  • Drafter checks and reviews shop drawings from equipment suppliers.
  • Completes drafting designs while undertaking field verifications.


Qualifications


Drafter Education/Experience Requirements:


  • Experience in Drafting / Design in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Chemical Industry is preferred.
  • Civil or Mechanical Drafting and Design training or Associates Degree desired.
  • Previous experience doing field verifications and P&ID walk-downs desired.
  • Candidates should be located within reasonable driving distance of Cleburne, TX.
