Summary
A Design Drafter will aide in the product development process, with 3D modeling being the primary focus. This position is responsible for producing finalized product models to current manufacturing standards, with a strong attention to detail. They will assist in all other Landmark Design functions when deemed necessary.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCad for design work, concept and production modeling. Other duties may require Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Photoshop.
Other Skills
Must be eager and willing to quickly learn, operate and apply new software to improve quality and production efficiency.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Submit drawing files for manufacturing review/markups.
- Obtain quotes for custom purchased parts.
- Review and interpret topographical drawings for hillside component layouts.
- Follow project through drafting and structuring process.
- Submit Availability/Drill Sheets
- Build prototypes and study models when necessary to gain a sense of scale.
- Modeling simple to complex 3D parts.
- Must have a knowledge of materials and methods of manufacturing.
- Must be able to work and meet deadlines and work well under the pressure of a fast-paced environment.
- Creating tube laser models for CNC programming.
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
- Participating in design and manufacturing reviews.

Education And/or Experience
- Associates Degree in Drafting and Design and/or 5 years relevant work experience required.
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of materials and methods of manufacturing.
- Experience with sheet metal, pipe, and routed HDPE is a plus.
Travel may be required up to 10%.
