Dog Day School Counselor - Arlington Heights

Tailchasers Arlington Pet Resort is looking for a reliable, attentive, and enthusiastic dog daycare technician to join our team!

• This is a part-time position (25 hours or less)**

Shift Structure + Compensation

• Monday - Friday | 6:15a - 12:30p or 12:20p - 6:30p
• $15 hourly
• NO WEEKENDS

Position Overview

Our technicians have the awesome pleasure of managing and overseeing groups of pups at play. Technicians have the ultimate responsibility to ensure all pups are playing safely, and capture photos and videos of the pups having fun. Additionally, technicians have the duty of working with each pup for 8-10 minutes on the command of the day, which are basic obedience commands such as: sit, stay, wait, etc.

Responsibilities

• Management of agility and enrichment activities
• In-person engagement with clients visiting our facility
• Facility cleanliness (in play and potty areas)
• Baths/spa services
• Using a tablet to capture photos and videos of dogs.
• Overseeing facility dog playgroups

Requirements

• Able to pass a background check
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to commit to this position for 6 months from the date of hire
• Basic knowledge of computer/tablet functions
• Must be teachable & flexible
• US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US
• Ability to communicate with customers in a friendly manner
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
